Do my bills or PDFs ever leave my device?
No. BillMint is 100% client-side: templates render in your browser and PDF edits are applied locally with open-source libraries. The server only serves the app's static files — it never sees your documents.
Are the rent receipts valid for HRA claims?
Yes — they include everything HRA proofs need: landlord name and PAN field, tenant, property address, period, amount in figures and words, and a revenue-stamp checkbox for receipts above ₹5,000 cash.
How does GST calculation work?
Choose a GST rate and whether the supply is inter-state. BillMint auto-splits CGST + SGST for intra-state or applies IGST for inter-state, and prints the total in Indian words.
How do I download a PDF?
Click "Download PDF" and your browser's print dialog opens scoped to the document — choose "Save as PDF". It's pixel-identical to the preview and works on every OS with zero uploads.
